The comment about diluted rivalries was spot on. You are basically Wisconsin's rival for the next couple of decades. But it looks like they did the best cross conference games that they could for the time being. Assuming the powers in the East remain UM, anOSU, PSU, then it would be nuts to play all 3 in one year and then none of them two years later.

Why?

Total Solar Eclipse in Lincoln path. The last US was 1979, only Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. In other words, very seldom.
