Kind of interesting that they're now not announcing the alternates for "a few weeks." As has been mentioned, it's usually been right around the start of fall camp. I can understand delaying a bit with everything else going on but a few weeks makes me wonder if they went back to redesign something.

I could see it as a way to generate hype for the Ducks game, if that is the game we play with the alternate uniforms.

I think it would be incredible to do them for Oregon but at the same time im glad last year the alternates weren't used for Miami. Granted, that had some history but our classic red and white look damn good under the lights. Simple but effective.

Not sure what hype would be different for Oregon unveiling them now vs. once the season starts.
The biggest change I can think of from the delay of the traditional unveiling would be the death of Sam Foltz. Possibly they are incorporating a Nebraska small town theme, or possibly using the uniforms to make an impact on a foundation like Team Jack.

Maybe alternates needed to be altered to somehow involve foltz into the uniform?

Should be released within the next couple of weeks. Wonder if they're going to do it for a home or away game. Any rumblings out there?

I think we should have a red helmet like this with SF 27 on the back. Also we would have 27 on the corner of the red jersey's we would wear,because I am pretty sure they will have some dedication to Foltz. Maybe he had an idea for alternate unis and adidas is going to do something he would have wanted to honor him. Anyway I think that helmet looks cool and it would be awesome to honor Sam.
