*** 2016 Game 3 "Expert" Picks: Oregon at Nebraska***

I am not sure how the rest of you feel about the upcoming game but I feel tension. I have not felt this way for many years and I think it is because I would really love for the Huskers to get that Monkey off their back and start building their reputation for being a contender once again. We all have suffered immensely through the years with getting our hopes up, only to get them crushed.

To me, regardless of how high Oregon is ranked or not, I feel this is one of those statement games that we "need" to win. Win it, and we are on the right path. Lose it, and while it won't change our seasonal goals, it cements the same old feeling that we have a long ways to go.

The stadium needs to be rocking each possession Oregon has the ball. If the fans can create one miscue, or one bad play decision for Oregon, that might be the difference in the final score.

We need to unsettle Prukop and his go to guys.

I am tired of saying this but "Let's get this done"!

Do your part to bring the crowd to a frenzy in your section guys/gals.

I can assure you I will be pumping up anyone and everyone wearing red!
Agreed.

If we lose Saturday, we start re-building that reputation again and won't have another shot at making a splash until Ohio State, which will be a good win for our program. Book It.

The student section is open far before the rest of the stadium is. I wanna say 3 hours before kickoff they let students in.
Yes, but they straggle in up till about 1/2 hour before kick off and then all the sudden it gets full. At least that's what I have noticed!
As a student, no way will that be the case this game. I'm usually a guy that shows up an hour early, and gets decent seats. I'm coming 2.5 hrs early to expect those same seats. The gates may not open, but there will be students starting the line and camping out Friday night.
Give me heck! I know I will be!

Are we wearing our regular gear for this game or is Adidas doing something dumb since NIKE's uniform-junkies are coming to town?

I don't think we have had this much weight on 1 game since 408.
I'd say USC in '07.
Idk. I feel like we were a mid ranked team against Wisky that day, had a chance to make a big jump in the top 25 plus concrete us into the B1G Title game.... and we got walloped.
True, but it was on the road, and there wasn't an offseason of buildup based on "hope" to get the fanbase into a frenzy.
