Dang, was hoping we would get to toss Wilson around a bit.

Gotta say. I'm a bit surprised that Herbert beat out both Jonsen (Waller) and Wilson. I've heard that Herbert was the sleeper of last years class but maybe the other 2 just aren't very good. Who knows....

Well I doubt it at this point. I think he'll probably redshirt. I thought that Jonsen played the best spring game. So I'm going to guess that Wilson is 4th string, and even if they got into an emergency they still have Lockie and Alie that they moved to other positions who've played QB the last 2-3 years.

The likely hood of Wilson redshirting is probably as close as you can get to 100%. But, I'm probably wrong.

Hoke explained that there were breakdowns in every level of the defense, breakdowns he thought the coaching staff had fixed going into that day. He was wrong.

If the Oregon defense doesn’t get it together during these first two games as it preps for the rest of its grinding schedule, the Ducks could be dealt a result that's -- to use Helfrich’s terminology -- irreparable for its playoff hopes.
