Man if we lose out on Jackson and Simmons tomorrow this class really seems pretty average.

I think the class is actually pretty decent. It's just surprising that the momentum just died.

why is that surprising. As always, this staff oversells and under delivers. I bought in that last couple of weeks as well.

As always? This is their first full recruiting class, and we knew going in it would be a smaller class. Great post...

This year is the small class? Have you seen the numbers for next season?

This was supposed to be a class that sets the staff up for success. They seem to have found a good QB and great OL recrutis, but failed miserably in finding DL recruits despite several quality recruits nearby. I personally think the lack of talent at DE cost Nebraska games this season.

The inability to pressure the QB is why we gave up so many game ending drives last year. Couldn't get pressure when it counted.

At this point, I say switch to a 3-4 and let the LBs loose. No point in trying to pass rush when you don't have the personnel.

This has been discussed since they were hired. It might happen.

Nice. Didnt hear about this. Fingers crossed. Has he ever been here? Wonder if he could come after NSD for a visit? Pretty sure we will have a spot for him and can sign later.

Really not sure.. He was mentioned in a few articles about being along with KJJ a couple times.. Maybe the Calabasas pipeline has started early ...

If Jackson told coaches where he was going already, and told ours he's not coming here, then why would we offer someone who could be part of a package deal with him? I think this says Lamar is ours and we hope to land this kid too. Just how I read it. Would love to have him!
