He was trying to play through a shoulder injury so his shooting was off, but he was still their leading rebounder.  He is going to have (had?) surgery on that shoulder which is why he is out for the season.

 
Illini:  Play NW...next day McIntosh is out...Play MD...Next day two starters for MD out...Play Minny...next day Lynch is gone.  Man...odd timing!

 
I dont think Minnesota can overcome this.

Northwestern, Maryland with the injuries. This for the Gophers and all of a sudden, Nebraska and Ohio State are looking at the 4th spot.

They need to prove they can win big games and that chance comes on Saturday... If they can somehow walk in to Mackey Arena and beat a pretty good Purdue team, then people might start talking.

This team has a ton of talent and isnt reliant on just 1 or 2 guys to score.

There is a log jam with his next 100 points he will move into 29th passing Mikki Moore with 986.  Stu Lantz is 15th with 1269.

 
these injuries could swing games NU's way.. the problem with that is we end up going to the dance and once again lose in the first round... because we don't really belong.

We the right coach, this team could be top 30 team, with Miles not so much.
