I would rather have the game on Thursday so the team stays in their rhythm of playing every day. Plus it will condense the schedule a lot for NU on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

If we win, then we'll be okay, schedule-wise. And if we lose...well, the loser's bracket already has a crap schedule to begin with, right?

This will allow Burkamper to pitch Friday on his usual 6 days rest that he gets during the regular season, so that's good. I just know that baseball players are a creature of habit, so they get used to playing every day, after a few days of rest.

 
NU now scheduled for 9 AM Central Time (10 AM Bloomington time) on Friday morning.

Looks like I know what I will be doing at work tomorrow morning.

 
Indiana's home field seems like a hitter's paradise. The ball seems to carry well in the outfield, and the artificial turf means more grounders get through the infield. It would suck to pitch there.
