Ill has had 2 weeks to prepare - this is a short week for NU.   So we'll see if Lovie has some surprises that can turn his O around.   If they can rattle Lee and then crowd the line against our running game - they will have a chance. 

Question:  If Lee throws an interception in quarter 1 or 2 - do you think MR will pull him for O'Brien?

I don't think they pull him unless he sucks AND it is out of hand.

My "hope against hope" outlook for tomorrow night is this: We run the ball down their throats. We get up by three touchdowns in the 3rd and then have the luxury of putting O'Brien in, just to give him snaps.

One can hope.

Forecast for tomorrow is 8 mph wind small chance of rain, no chance of snow.  Maybe Langs won't feel compelled to pass 90% of plays due to good weather? The two weeks off gives them a lot of time to review film and correct mistakes.

2 out of 3 ESPN big ten reporters pick Illinois to win outright... interesting.

Based on their written reasonings, I think they just couldn't stomach to watch these teams and just made stuff up.

At this point, I am unsure what it would take for MR to pull Lee. It would have to be bad....really bad......like Tanner Lee handing the ball off to a blitzing defender as if its his own running back bad. Even then I'm not sure that would do it.
