*** 2017 Recruiting ***

From a USC scout article:

"One 5 star player in San Antonio said he basically eliminated Nebraska from contention because he was tired of all the GBR tweets."

This article also basically says it's USC or Ohio State for Darnay with details about the path the entire recruitment has taken. Sounds like this has been drama filled from the start. One sentence about Nebraska, basically saying that the writers pumping Nebraska sunshine about whir chances to land Darnay have "been vetted and have no validity." That is the only mention of Nebraska in the entire article. These people are inside the entire LA scene and see Nebraska as no threat even today

 
"Don't listen to Nate Clouse, his job is to sell subscriptions, he can't be trusted"

"Did you see what the USC reporter said? We're out, close down shop, I bet their fans are really excited"

Definitely on my wish list. But this is the list of guys who I think are fairly interested in Nebraska. I took him off awhile ago. I thought about adding him back but I'll just wait for Saturday.

Man, watching JL's periscope from the other day made my head hurt. So many recruits watching right next to him and Husker fans were making Nebraska look foolish with the things they were saying. Very annoying.

 
Just because Matty insists that he's N and he'll never let me live it down if he's right and I didn't even have him on my list, I added him.

Yes, caving to peer pressure, just like all the after school specials taught me.
