I can remember an OL recently from Nebraska doing 12, can’t remember if it was Sirles or who it was. I keep thinking “Williams” but not sure who that would’ve been. Either way, it was pathetic, this was at least a step up from that.

Orlando Brown from OU did like 14-15.

How does 20 reps at 225 stack up in terms of average for OL at the combine?

It is a below average. Average is around 25 for tackles. 20 sure doesn't help your status

Not sure how important a 40 time for an offensive lineman is but gates doesn't seem to be lighting up the combine.
Agree on both points.
He's currently 34th out of 37 OL who have turned in a time.

Have they done position work yet? I wonder if they'll have him work out as a tackle or guard or both
