They were tryingStill can’t believe our previous staff didn’t think we needed a RB this cycle. Not to keep hammering at them about it since it’s over but WTH?? Even if Bryant’s health was 100% certain, I still don’t understand why we wouldn’t take one.
I was going to suggest a JUCO RB as well to illustrate how badly we need help there, but it’s one of two positions you can trust freshmen to contribute right away at. Frost’s offense and the competition at the position should help us land an immediate difference maker.
Someone may have answered but Jacob Copeland. Clouse had the quote where the kid said he hopes Frost calls him.Does he have a name?
Keep in mind too his closeness to Davison (think he was a groomsman and also hearing pretty strong chance he is in an admin role in new Frost staff) so he would have good insight on areas of opportunity.Pretty sure Frost has known for awhile that he was coming to NU and has spent some time talking to coach bray, AD Moos or doing his own research on our biggest needs. Some of these guys are probably players that he has been recruiting for a year or two and most of them probably gave SF the answer NO sighting the reason being that they wanted to play at a P5 school. Now that SF can offer the P5 it was an easy offer.....

Towards the end there with Banks for sure. Which I think is directly related to Bryant’s status. Otherwise the plan seemed to be to hope Pledger would come here, especially/mainly if it meant keeping Bookie. RB didn’t feel like a priority for much of the cycle. They were trying
