2019-20 Donkey Bowl Contest
@Mavric I think in future years the default score for unpicked games should be -2 x the weight. Most of us would be further ahead if we had taken a 0 for that Frisco Bowl. :lol:
has anyone ever finished with a negative score before?
16 is the current record-low
Bahamas Bowl - Buffalo 31, Charlotte 9
Buffalo wins in a route despite throwing for 77 yards and completing less than 50% of their passes.
@NUance off to the best start with 3 points.
Frisco Bowl - Kent State 51, Utah State 41
Kent State with 25 fourth-quarter points for the win.
Except that all of us lost. -1 was the "best" anyone did....
New Mexico Bowl - San Diego State 48, Central Michigan 11
Apparently Central Michigan was just along for the vacation.
Another less-than-stellar showing. At least a few of us didn't go backwards.
To this point,
@NUance and I are leading .... with 0 points.
Cure Bowl - Liberty 23, Georgia Southern 16
Congrats to Liberty for winning a bowl game in their first year in FBS.
@The Murphinator grabs the max 5 points to vault into the lead.
Boca Raton Bowl - Florida Atlantic 52, SMU 28
SMU scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to make it look like they actually showed up.
@NUance was the only one to pick FAU and thus wins by scoring 0.
Las Vegas Bowl - Washington 38, Boise State 7
The Huskies send Chris Peterson down the Urban Meyer career path with a big W (no pun intended).
Another game where the high score was 0. At least only a couple went backwards.

Gasparilla Bowl - UCF 48, Marshall 25
UCF runs for over 300 yards with five players getting at least 40. That's pretty good.
Also, should be the Sasparilla bowl, right? Right?
@The Murphinator &
@Minnesota_husker pick up the max 5 points.

Quick Lane Bowl - Pittsburgh 34, Eastern Michigan 30
Not sure I've ever seen a QB get kicked out before. Let alone for throwing two punches, including one that hit an official. When they were on a drive trying win a game. Wow.
It's
@The Murphinator 's contest. Were all just vying for second. Seven of the last nine.
@NebraskaHarry @NUance and
@commando at least kept pace.
