The only "big" who has the Huskers high on his list is PF Yavuz Gultekin. He's only 6'7" & 190 lbs. according to 24/7 sports. So technically we had "6" spots to fill after Jordy left. We filled two with Dedoch Chan(can play this year) and Dachon Burke(sits out a year). We have since filled 3 more slots for next year in: F- Akol Arop, SG(Juco)- Jervay Green, PG- Mika Adams-Woods.
Technically one spot left but I assume Roby leaves after this year.
Looking at 2019-2020 we are not very tall. Will really depend on how Heiman and Chan fill out but think we need to go with someone with some height.
I wonder if we go Juco or Grad transfer. a 4/5 would be able to start next year no problem.
Adding Donovan Williams in 2020 will help and I think our guard situation looks good for the future.
I would guess whoever ends up here is either currently on a team or not on our list. I think it will be a while till we get another commit. The only "big" who has the Huskers high on his list is PF Yavuz Gultekin. He's only 6'7" & 190 lbs. according to 24/7 sports.
That’s my son's size and he’s already on campus. Could really use the scholarship. The only "big" who has the Huskers high on his list is PF Yavuz Gultekin. He's only 6'7" & 190 lbs. according to 24/7 sports.
He really has but you're right. Unless we want him out there 40 minutes a night next year we'll need to find some viable options with all the size leaving after this year.seaofred92 said:so I assume we spend the remaining 2019 scholarships on Frontcourt players? We need another big body. Heiman has been a pleasant surprise this year so far
