*** 2019 Game 1 "Expert" Picks: South Alabama At Nebraska ***

I just checked and the Clemson game like is like 37 but the first half line is 24...so the NU line might also get a bit of a jump for the first half.

It may just be me but I expect Frost to delay calling off the dogs longer than usual. It’s been awhile since we’ve really blown the doors off an opponent and I don’t think that fact is lost on HCSF. So I expect (hope) we leave the starters out a bit longer than would be needed. It may depend on how physical USA is or if we suffer any dings in the first half.

I don’t know how many points Nebraska is going to score. We have a team good enough to pull the starters against a team like this but I doubt the depth is good/experienced enough to keep the scoring up, or then from scoring a garbage time td.

35 points is too much

The question mark is the second team offensive line, which Austin expects to be much better. If they play well, Vedral will play well and then the offense should keep chugging.

They opened with 61 in 2017. He wanted that offense to build momentum then, and I suspect he does now, too. I would still expect key guys like Martinez, Wan’Dale, etc to only get a series or two in the 3rd.
