2. Purdue

3. Minnesota

4. Iowa

5. Nebraska

6. Northwestern

7. Illinois

Last year I went with 8 - 4 and of course was very disappointed.  This year, keeping my expectations in check, going with 7 - 5 feels safe and anything more than that is a bonus.

This is my worst case scenario, best case (and what I am rooting for of course) is undefeated and going to the playoff.

Query: Most people predict 9-3 and most people predict 1st in west.  Three conference losses won't cut it. They only reasonable way that happens is if Nebraska loses to.......COLORADO!

I say we ride momentum, College Gameday, and home town advantage in a last second 1 point win over Ohio State. Then I'll say we slip up on the road against Minnesota or Purdue since they may have the offense to keep up or maybe we don't quite get over the hump vs. Wisconsin or Iowa. Some combination of that.  :koolaid2: :restore

Lets see how they play before we call it a big disappointment. Though, I bet Frost and the team feel the same as you.

I think it's pretty fair to say that less than 8-4 would be a pretty big disappointment.

Now, it's entirely possible that there are legitimate reasons why that could happen - significant injuries, etc - but that wouldn't change the fact that it would be pretty disappointing.

Went with 11-1. I always aim high.  A couple stumbles throughout the season wouldn't surprise me though.

I think the Colorado game will be a good indicator of how the season will go.  If we struggle against them again it probably won't bode all that well for the rest of the season.  It was obvious pretty early into Frost's 2nd year at UCF that they were going to be dominant.

Might need another year in the weightroom to see that kind if dominance in this conference.
