Or Illinois isnt that good.... 

I watched their game tonight but missed the first quarter where they scored 17.  I wasn't impressed by what I saw.  If we play like tonight we should win.

Yeah, the students don't care about the team at all.  

Greek life is super big at Illinois and the frats join up and rent out bars on game day...They open up like 2 hours early just for the frats that rented it out and of course, the sororities that they invited.  So they have the bars to themselves for a few hours until they open up to the public.  So for early games, those students don't leave the bars, they just stay and party (and you only have to be 19 to get into the bars, but you can't drink, wink)...

This being a late game is a little different situation but still, the students don't care and really the product on the field has been bad.

It’s an AWAY game. Frost is a stunning 0-6 in away games and that includes Colorado this year. It is significant that the Huskers are favored at all.

Man, the Illini fans are over football, over Lovie, sort of over the AD, they are over the students not showing up (but they understand why) and they are over this season.

They expect half the fans at the game to be wearing red (I don't think it will be a huge Husker turnout) and they really think it will be a beat down.  They are already looking at who they could possibly get as their next coach.
