I'm considering making a large wager on Ohio State to help guarantee a close game for us.

That's usually how it seems to go lol.

Yeah they are definitely more efficient.

When this team gets more efficient at turning yards into points we're going to score a lot more. Penalties and turnovers kill this stat though.

And special teams... guessing their average starting field position is a lot better than ours.

Noting the obvious in terms of drastically cutting down turnovers as well as the penalties among other things I think if we are to hang with OSU we have to give them multiple things to worry about offensively.  One of them is having Martinez be ready to just tuck the ball under and run.  I think we really saw this against Illinois especially.

They might want to see how things work out in B1G play.

They already have.  He was 2nd team All B1G last year.

He put up some really good number last year on two bum ankles. But hey, maybe he won't improve this year.

DiCaprio Bootle was an all B1G selection as well..NFL looking at him too?  Just being an all B1G selection and a subway token will get you on the subway.

I don't worry about what happened last year...I look at stats this year. 

He is one of the best defensive lineman in the nation. Just watch him play, you don't need stats to tell you anything. He will be a top draft pick.
