Yeah, that would be less than ideal. There are some players that wouldn’t hurt to lose but I would think there’d be one or two examples of bad attrition if the number is that high.

I love DB, he keeps it real a lot of the time and he’s one of my favorites to listen to talk Huskers. But he’s also a bit of an extremist when it comes to guessing attrition haha. He mentioned that we were going to lose several more players last year after some deadweight left and nothing really came of it.

I would be fine with any of those guys. If they are not going to contribute- get some guys in here who will by transfers or bigger 19 class.

I thought Brokop was official now?

agreed on QA or PJ. Couldn’t decide which for sure.

I think Butler stays for some reason.

I think Newell stays as a Neb kid. I thought on him too.

Brokop has not officially announced that he is leaving the program although he has not arrived in Lincoln yet and his Twitter says former Husker.

Newell is from Kansas so he didn't grow up in Nebraska. 

Mostly we agree on the same people leaving.

I kind of get the feeling that we're not going to get an announcement from Brokop because it appears that he is staying in school at UNL but won't be on the team anymore.  So not the usual transferring announcement.

I'm good with it.  If last class and this week is any indication of how this staff can recruit, I think they can get higher caliber players in here than a lot of what the last two staffs have brought in.  I'd much rather them have their guys and be able to really get after it crootin bc of the excess schollys.
