2020 NFL Draft

Pretty respectable showing by Nebraska

Well, Nebraska high schools anyway.  (Which is what you meant, I realize.)

Nebraska
Nathan Enderle, 2011 (160), North Platte
Easton Stick, 2019 (166), Creighton Prep (Omaha)

When Enderle was being recruited we had a need for pro-style QBs under Callahan.  We could have used him.  When Easton Stick came along Pelini was using more of a running QB offense with Tommie Armstrong.  So, not so much need for Stick.

I know these are stats against lower division opponents and raw testing numbers don't tell the whole story, but I think he would've been fine:

Agreed.  I was going by Rival's listing Stick as a pro-style QB.  Would have been fun to see him play for the Huskers.

I feel indifferent about the Love pick. Think it is for more of a back up in case Rodgers gets hurt. I just don't see the point of moving up for him though. Correct me if I am wrong but were the Titans interested in him? I really wanted Patrick Queen for ILB to replace Blake Martinez. This would have been an excellent trade up in my book. The good news is this is a deep draft for Wideouts and we will hopefully take one in the second and 4/5/6 round for a bigger bodied receiver. Or else Rodgers backup will only have Davante and few others to throw to.

So morning after, how's everyone feel about their teams moves?

From what I gathered a lot of Philly fans were pissed the Cowboys wound up taking Lamb. A lot of people wanted us to trade up for him.  I don't care so much because the Cowboys suck and they'll find a way to mess it up. Eagles wound up taking Reagor from TCU at 21 who is supposed to be a speed demon which the offense desperately needs. Wentz is immeasurably better when he's got someone who can actually get open downfield. Pretty happy myself.

Interesting to see Green Bay wind up with Love. Trouble in paradise? And of course Big Red takes a RB to end the 1st.
