I don't think I'm going to run the risk of believing again this year. They suckered me in with the schedule and the hype last year.

 
These preseason computer rankings are pretty heavily based on returning production. We return almost the entire offense. On the other hand, LSU lost 14 starters and didn't even crack the top 10.

 
The Purdue game basically will make or break our season. Beat Purdue and I see Nebraska able to put together a 7-5 season. Lose to Purdue and who knows where the wheels go and we could easily be looking at 5-7 again.

I'd be pretty happy with this.

1. We made it to a bowl game

2. We've never played in this bowl game before

3. Haven't played FSU in quite a while.
