Nebraska snippet:

The rebuilding job at Nebraska isn't progressing as quickly as Scott Frost likes, and now is the time to strike after a 9-15 start in two seasons. The Huskers return starting quarterback Adrian Martinez but lose leading receiver JD Spielman, who left the team in March and finally entered the transfer portal this week. Fourteen players, including six (!) receivers, were booted or left the team early to seek transfer options and professional opportunities outside football.

As Martinez goes, so goes Nebraska this season. He threw 10 touchdowns but also had nine picks while adding 626 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. The receiving corps is young and he needs to lift them up.

I know they got a new OC and all, but there is no way we finish behind NW. Well, actually they have a bizarrely easy schedule so they might. But they might have the least offensive talent of any team we play this year.

 
I personally don't see them being better than (or is it then, i think than as in comparison but we are talking also about time so it would be then, sticking with than) a 6-6 record. Absolutely can't see Northwestern winning 7 games this year.

 
seriously.....5th in the West, but ahead of Purdue...who we play first  :dunno

do we beat Purdue, then they tank, or what?

They are pretty devoid of talent on the roster compared to past teams. Fitz hasn’t recruited very well and the rest of the pack has gotten a lot better.
