The schedule: vs. Purdue, vs. Central Michigan, vs. South Dakota State, vs. Cincinnati, at Northwestern, vs. Illinois, at Rutgers, at Ohio State, vs. Penn State, at Iowa, at Wisconsin, vs. Minnesota

Number of potential games vs. Top 25 teams: 5

Schedule strength rating: 17

The word: The Huskers won't leave Lincoln until the first weekend in October when they travel to Evanston, Illinois, for a winnable matchup at Northwestern. If Nebraska beats the Wildcats, that could be a 5-0 start — highlighted by a quality win over potential Group of 5 heavyweight Cincinnati — and an entry into the Top 25. It'll only get tougher from there however with remaining arduous tasks vs. potentially five straight nationally-ranked opponents to end the regular season.

Beating Northwestern is much easier than beating Purdue, so interesting to hear that take lol.

I finally have internet again, so I do now! I have CMU done, will post something on Cincinnati shortly, but since SDSU is FCS, I doubt we'll have anything.
