2020 Vision

slacker

Team HuskerBoard
A newspaper editor heard a report that 2020 pigs had been stolen from a farm, so he called the farmer to check the story. The farmer told him the same story but the editor changed the number for insertion in the news. Why?

This one's fun! B)

The pigs had 20/10 eyesight?
The pigs had 20/10 eyesight? NO

Now come on, did you really think it would be that easy, this is slacker you're dealing with here.. B)

The farmer was not particularly bright, so he could only count on his fingers and toes (20). Since he didn't know multiplication either, he expressed the number of pigs (40) as "twenty twenty".

There were 22 animals in all...the farmer had a heavy accent and said "two sows and twenty pigs". :)

As he talked to the farmer on the phone, the newspaper editor realized that the man had a slight lisp and that what he had actually reported stolen was "two sows and twenty pigs."

You asked for it, the next one will be a toughie.
