The 2021 Big Ten tournament will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from March 10-14. All 14 teams will participate and try to earn the automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Tournament. This is the 12th time Indianapolis has hosted the tournament, but the first time Lucas Oil Stadium has hosted.
The tournament was originally scheduled for the United Center in Chicago. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Big Ten moved the tournament due to testing concerns.
The top four seeds earned automatic byes into the quarterfinals. Michigan won the regular season with a 14-2 record as of Friday. Going into the tournament, six of the 14 teams are ranked in the AP Top 25 poll including Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Purdue, Ohio State and Wisconsin.
