2021 Spring Game - May 1st @ 1:00 CDT

Watching this on dvr right now.  I mean it's good to see them out there again.  Hopefully from now on we can get back to an actual scrimmage format with more even rosters vs this years setup with thud tackling.

Red Team leads the overall series 46-11-1 since the advent of the Devaney Era. This snaps the Red Team's 3-game winning streak.

1. Toure was a much needed WR transfer pick up
2. AM looks a little quicker
3. Manning has some talent. Work on mind and hands
4. Morrison, Yant and Ervin are good young backs
5. Oliver Martin has great hands. Should have a good year
6. Scott has good balance as a runner. Reliable
7. Back up QBs need some work, but not bad for a spring game

This should be Frost's best team since coming to Nebraska. Hopefully a "breakout" season to a bowl game and keep building from there. LOS looked a lot better than it has in years. Finally some depth getting built at the LOS. Passing game will be better this year WITHOUT Wandale Robinson.

I know it was vanilla, but you saw a downhill attack.

Can anyone post a readers digest version similar to the game day "what did we learn" page.  Most appreciated.

A lot of people on social media are complaining about Martinez's performance, saying he still looks rotten. Kinda contradicts what I read here?
Hard to tell. Lot of plays where defenders with no angle got a pinky on the ballcarrier and the play was blown dead. 30-35 MPH wind made passing difficult. We learned little or nothing.

Here is what I learned.

Masks are not used in Lincoln, not even a little bit.

Railyard was packed

Barry's is gone

Sandy's and Brother's did not bother to open for the game.

You can still get 2 dollar tallboys on O Street.

I learned I still cringe a bit when AM throws those checkdown swings to the flats. Forward, Adrian, forward
