If you want to go strictly by what the published depth chart said, then sure Oz wasn't too far down. The point Mav and others are making is that in reality, Oz was in fact considered 3rd in terms of top backs by Held and Co. as evident by how much playing time he got. If Oz was really a co #1, then he wouldn't have been well behind Bell and Mo the first few games. The published depth chart is one thing, what really matters in terms of the true depth chart is how much PT you get.So do you think Coach Held gets credit for bringing Oz from deep on the depth chart to a 1K rusher? The only point I was trying to make was that Oz wasn't deep in the depth chart. He was a senior who got himself into great shape was already a pretty good back when the season started. Everyone keeps misconstruing my comments in different ways and two hours later--here we are.
