What under the hood numbers is OSU that much better than us in?It's not just the NET ranking that hate Nebraska, it is all of the computer rankings.
When looking at the composite of all computer rankings (https://masseyratings.com/cb/compare.htm), Nebraska is #91. In only 6 of the 60ish rankings are we higher than #70. Our high is #54 in the Rhamey rankings, low is #150 in the 7OT rankings.
Besides SOS, our under the hood numbers are not great.
FYI, Ohio St is #85 in the computer composite rankings.
I hate Howard, but Michigan helped the huskers towards getting out of the bottom 4 by beating Wisconsin in OT!
Must be the location as I was able to watch OT.And when the game went to overtime, CBS switched to (basically) the start of the UCLA/Colorado game and moved Wisconsin/Michigan to their streaming service.
We had injuries & played a lot with 8 scholarship players & 3 freshman who did not have a lot of minutes prior to.It's frustrating. We have a chance to go to the NIT. Almost no chance to go to the NCAA Tournament. At the same time, I'm guessing almost nobody really wants to play us right now.
Oh how I wish they would have started playing like this in early January.
I know. But, it's still frustrating. Still wonder how things would have been different if Keisei was starting all year.We had injuries & played a lot with 8 scholarship players & 3 freshman who did not have a lot of minutes prior to.
