Asked to clarify his comment on Manning, Joseph said, “He practiced. He practiced two days in a row.”
Joseph wants his receivers to be able to play through minor injuries, or “nicks” as he calls them.
“Here at Nebraska, we’re not going to play you (if you’re) hurt,” the coach said. “But if you’ve got a nick, we’re going to ask you to try and go through it. He’s learning how to do that.”

Also sounds like Mickey doesn't think Crawford was hurt badly enough to be missing a practice. Joseph sounded frustrated when asked about Crawford.

Not sure about that. Rumor is he was carted off at the scrimmage with a knee injury and is done for the season.

I took it as it being a fairly serious injury since he referred it to HCSF who seems to control all the injury reports himself. Callahan mentioned in his podcast Crawford was hurt in the Saturday scrimmage. MJ sounded more frustrated about Manning missing practices.
