Have to be a tad careful with this because it can be a great band-aid but we don’t want to overly rely on it. It’s also the type of thing that can make younger players transfer away, have to have a lot of trust with the players.

But ultimately it’s probably the right thing for this year at this point. Should have some spots open up for immediate PT.

Frost indicated today that he plans to bring a couple of transfers in for underperforming positions and figures there's a good chance our current guys will transfer.

Definitely a bit of the nature of the beast but always welcome if it’s good attrition. Can think of a handful of players where it’s best for both sides if they move on.

Agreed. Might as well just take guys from the portal who are for sure things or have played at this level. 

Only a few JUCO players have worked out here under Frost. The vast majority have been busts.

We'll see if they still visit.  We were only looking for one DL in this class and just got a commit.  That would be 12 on the roster for next year as things stand now.  Eight would be sophomores or younger.
