Agreed.  I think if you gave us the choice between keeping Christo, Mason and having a shot at Hallmark versus losing Christo and Mason and keeping Povich, we would've all signed up for the former.

 
Nebraska is going to have some arms next season! Perry, Shanaman, Frank, Olson, and Bunz return. Also, don't forget about Colby Gomes coming back from tommy john. Add to that Christo, Hood, and now Ornelas!

Should have a strong competition for weekend starters and the backend of the bullpen should be stout.

Mason pitched some too, can only find some summer stats for 2019 but they were good (1.14 ERA, 41 K in ~31 IP, 92 mph FB he might be able to bump up a little with development from Christy who will no doubt be sharing a lot of office time with Childress), but I'm just guessing, not sure if they will utilize him that way.

Interesting things of note:

Nebraska looking for possible facility upgrades (left field)

Gunner Hellstrom, Trey Kissack & Max Schreiber, have moved on and are not using their covid year. Hellstrom may be a student assistant coach in fall and spring.
