2023 Alternate Uniforms

"Alternates" that aren't truly alternates and are ridiculously subtle, I don't get at all. You barely can notice on TV, let alone in the stands, so why bother? Give me a fun new design with different colors or don't bother.

Exactly. If it’s Nebraska brass that doesn’t want any non-traditional jerseys, then don’t. Halfassed blah attempts are worse than no alternates at all. If it’s Adidas that can’t come up with anything better, then kick em to the curb.

The blue piping around the number for one, and the shoulder stripes include the inscriptions on the four corners of Memorial.

Subtle is best overall but I hear what you're saying. However, we don't know what the rest of the uniform looks like - might include some interesting flourishes on the pants/helmets/gloves as well.

 
That's a good way to incorporate blue into the jersey without being too overt. 

And I really like the inclusion of the four sayings on the sleeve stripes. Good job, whoever came up with that idea.
