2023 College Football Playoff

If the undefeated teams win tonight, you gotta go Michigan, Washington, FSU, and Texas. Otherwise you're telling teams that head-to-head results mean nothing

both Alabama and Georgia in the playoffs.....or neither?

Body of work - Alabama:

Tied with 6-6 South Florida with 20 minutes to play

Beat 7-5 Texas A&M by 6

Beat 4-8 Arkansas by 3

Needed to convert 4th & 31 to beat 6-6 Auburn by 3

But ..... SEC!

The only way they could try to weasel out of it is if FSU barely wins tonight and play the "they wouldn't have gone undefeated without their QB, so they're not the same team" card and go Michigan, Washington, Texas & Alabama.

It's a tough choice but I think it should be Michigan, Washington, FSU, and Texas, assuming Michigan and FSU win. We have so few non conference games to use to compare conferences to each other, and Texas won theirs against Alabama.

I do not see a scenario where they leave the SEC champ out, especially since its bama. FSU losing would make it easier for the committee, but I could still see them left out if they win a close one.

I think no SEC team makes it.  Bama had a long way to climb. I think they are an excellent team but they lost head to head to TX, FSU blocks them by going undefeated, and they barely beat UGA.  Too many things to overcome.  Texas is in so they are going to SEC so SEC fans can go for them I guess.
