2023 Fall Camp

I don't see an all encompassing fall camp thread. So, here it is.

Has any media availability schedule been released for fall camp?  Typically, in past years, they have given out a schedule of when press can be at practice and what coaches/players will be available for questioning after practice.

If it was just Farmer, it would be interesting.

With that many, I would think there was some conflict that they just couldn't get out of.  At least for some of them.

This is good to hear (OWH), although I'm still not optimistic about the waiver:

Nebraska tight end Arik Gilbert didn’t seem to have any rust. If one player reshaped his body over the summer, it was the former five-star recruit who is now on his fourth school and awaiting an NCAA waiver to play this fall. Gilbert has noticeably added muscle and lost extra weight headed into camp.

He was not in great shape in the spring, and you always worry about those guys making progress in the summer. Sounds like he did.

It is funny how the WR coach looks and sounds like a Freshman, but it's easy to see why Rhule likes him.

Practice was divided into two groups with mostly veterans in the first group.  Younger guys and down-the-depth-chart guys in the other group.

This is the first year we haven't had the three stripe shoulder practice jerseys since 2013 I believe.

Maybe it's just me, but I liked that the "team building" and "camaraderie" in the off season was driven by the staff and players and not some outside company.  IMHO, it makes the process more organic as it's driven by those having to play with and for each other.  More internal accountability.
