Scoring wise our offense is worse by 3 ppg overall and 4 ppg vs P5. Both have played 3 P5 teams and 2 others. Both have played one top 10 opponent. This made my day until I realized our O may be just as bad or worse.

Iowa’s scoring figures include at least 2 defense/special teams TD’s, so NU and Iowa’s offenses are about as equally inept.Scoring wise our offense is worse by 3 ppg overall and 4 ppg vs P5. Both have played 3 P5 teams and 2 others. Both have played one top 10 opponent.
Very true. That plus our turnovers equals the difference in record so far. Somehow they still manage to win games at a high rate.Iowa’s scoring figures include at least 2 defense/special teams TD’s, so NU and Iowa’s offenses are about as equally inept.
They still win a lot of games, which is both amazing and disgusting all at once! And as has been mentioned before. This is year 15+ of their offense, and year one of ours.
