** 2023 Opponent Preview : Minnesota (Game 1) **

Not at all. I said two years ago that Illinois was, and last year that NW was, for momentum for Frost because his seat was on fire (or should have been). This year for Rhule is all about building momentum for 2024 in the program.  The most important game is the next one, so I'll go with Iowa or if we get lucky, the bowl game.

Minnesota may be the LEAST important game all year, that's a pretty bad take in that article.  Year 1, on the road for game 1 against a team favored by a TD, means diddly squat for the season.  Fight hard, keep it close, don't beat yourselves, and that is a W in my book for the first game.

At this point in time, I agree that it’s the most important game. Next week the most important game will be CU and so forth.

No loss will be impossible to come back from and no win proves anything…..yet. I think that article frames it incorrectly but it is an important game. Every game is, when you’re where we’re at. But Minnesota is a team we have to start taking some Ws from and there’s no better time than now.

DeShon Singleton with a sack and a QB hit on first drive. Maybe Rhule is right...

Also, 57:50 gave me flashbacks

Heat-seeking missile (Singleton) with some similarities to Jack "The Assassin" Tatum perhaps!  :throwdabones1: :clap
