Penn State had a chance to put them away early. Didn't do it and paid for it. Drew Aller is from this area. Everybody kind of roots for him. He had a bad game. Notre Dame could win this all. I just want an all-north final, again.
Aller was especially bad. I think he attempted 2 passes to a wide receiver all day. Both dreadful passes that were picked off. Refs bailed him out of the first one. Not to be too hard on the kid, but he truly blew it for Penn St.That was maybe the worst combined performance by the two QBs in a game of that magnitude that I can remember.

For sure. Just Uncle Rico’s it over the sideline. Once again, feel bad for the kid…but he was a playing with a lot of nervesEven the lateral on their final play - you get the ball back to the one player who should have a good chance at completing a cross-field lateral, and he airmails it out of bounds to end the game. They weren't going to score anyway, but it was a very fitting ending to the play based on the rest of the game.

Absolutely.Funny, cause I was listening to sports radio yesterday afternoon, and the NFL pundits were speculating about NFL teams jockeying for draft position to get Aller.
Can millions of dollars be lost in a single college football performance?
Put it in slow motion - not sure he ever makes contact with him. It looked like he did live so I get why they called it but in reality, I think it was just good defense. And I am not a fan of anything Notre Dame...OK....this is being debated all day today. Why isn't this interference? The DB hits the WR before the ball gets there. If it weren't intercepted and if the DB hadn't hit him, the ball may have been catchable. Is it because the ball was touched by a different defender before it got to the receiver? So, it's basically like the ball was tipped at the LOS so no PI?
