2024 Fall Camp Notes - Offensive Line

He was gonna start either way tbh. On one side of the line.
Well i thought I read they were ok with him sitting and developing. Teddy would have more years of playing time.  Corcoran will be done after this year.  Sanders may be thrust into starting

Sanders would be a huge get, and legitimize the Huskers into a top 10 college football destination moving forward.  Because we also got Raiola.

Sanders is the unanimous #1 OT in the country and top 3-5 HS recruit overall in the Nation.  He is going 3 years and then professional football.

There is no earthly way Sanders sits on the bench his first year.  Not in Lincoln, Columbus or Tennessee.

I just really hope he chooses Nebraska.  Would mean so much to us.

If not, wish him the best and we keep fighting for other HS studs on Offensive Line.  And develop those who we already have and covet that came here.  It's as simple as that.

I really feel bad for Teddy.  He probably had goals going into the season.  And now another year of surgery and physical therapy - which is so hard on a person to go through, especially twice in a few years.  Big fella is 6'8 or a bit taller, and 325 lbs or a bit heavier.  Now he will have surgery on each knee within 3 years.  Dang...

(And yes I know he is listed as 6'10 but hopefully you get the point).

So, does Gottula start at left tackle, or will they just move Corcoran? I wonder if this clears the way for Brix to potentially get some playing time as well.
