2024 Fall Camp Notes - Quarterbacks

GT_bUbKb0AAwT08

This QB should be at Georgia and competing for a backup roll with a Natty Contender, with future Heisman consideration.

And we stole this MOFO from them !!!!!  And he wanted to play here for Nebraska !!!!

We need to do 2 things right now....

1) Count our blessings

2) Be Patient

This time next year he's going to be discussed among college football's best QBs on the rise, and not just among the B1G.

Enjoy the ride and the roller coaster with a true freshmen that has so much to offer to the Huskers.  And don't forget to count your blessings and have some patience.

At some point, he will be " that " badass guy

Does anyone else find it interesting/amusing this is the smallest topic (except DL)? Is it because there is no competition, or they're asking people to stay quiet? Obviously this is the one the most people are interested in, and there's almost nothing.

I would bet there is a concerted effort from the staff and the athletic department to keep pressure and expectations and excitement as low as possible for Dylan, and thus far I'm actually shocked at how well the media and also the fanbase have been fine with it.

Ya, I agree. I was just thinking, I'm really glad our first game is against UTEP and not Northwestern, or Purdue, or Illinois, or any other Big Ten opponent like it seems to have been in recent years. Gives him a chance to do a college game in a huge sold out stadium before we have a more difficult opponent.

And it's even at home for once.

Let's be honest, the posting volume here is way less than it once was. Any topic that doesn't have at least 2 or 3 people going back and forth tends to whither.

Rhule's done his part, whether that's in reference to Dylan or any other player. I think Dylan, himself, deserves a lot of credit here. He's very humble, doesn't seek the spotlight. He's quick to accept responsibility and even quicker to deflect praise. He's very professional and that really jives well with how Rhule runs this program. There's massive reasons to be excited, and I know everyone is, but these guys are all business this fall. Kinda boring for the media, but it should pay off on the scoreboard.

I’m talking comparitively, but ya.

I assume half of that is the ads and half is Nebraska sucking at football.
