Personally, I say “nothing”, as neither is Mason Mac….A lot of pitchers either don’t play or play only 1/2 season. Sears only played until the mid season point last summer, then some guys don’t actually show up until mid summer. The more concerning part is that rumor is that he may likely get drafted, so a decision will have to be made.

Sears named to two different All-American teams so far. 2nd team on both…. Highest All-American team honor for any Husker staring pitcher since 2003.  I stated he would be one of the most decorated players in history. Not done, because Coaches team announced  later this week

Add another All-American Award for Sears. 2nd team from the Coaches.

First time ever going to a summer league game. 
 

Interesting that they play with wooden bats.

That was true small town American baseball. It was good baseball with nothing but small town feel around it.

Another All-American Award for Sears. Baseball America 2nd Team All American. 5th All American list he is on, along with District player of year and Big 10 pitcher of the year. Highest award by a starting Husker pitcher since 2003.

Can't say I'm feeling too badly for ol Trev right now. Man, this Texas and Texas A&M situation is just crazy lol. 

I saw a couple of paranoid Husker fans worried that A&M would come back for Bolt and I honestly don't see it. Alberts has to make a big, big time hire and while I love Bolt, he'd be like 40th on the list. Lots of coaches are going to be getting raises for sure off this A&M pressure and they are going to roll out a dump truck of money for someone.
