I wonder how everyone truly feels about the guys they signed from hs and the guys they brought in from the transfer portal? Imo while I appreciate the effort of the staff bringing guys here does it feel a little underwhelming or do you feel most of the guys will have a positive impact with the coaches they brought in and are happy with who the signed so far?
 
now 15 portal guys + 1 JUCO. Still looking at a high school DL/QB. not sure how many guys we will have left to take in the portal ranks. Maybe 1 more?

I feel like the portal season has gone about as good as it could have. We spent a lot of money on both lines and sprinkled in several other positions of need. If 50% of them work out, it will be considered a win.

they have brought in guys specifically targeted to fit our needs. many look like plug and play starters. if you don't like that i don't know what to say

For me the offense line changes should be better the d-line is still a question mark for me bc I desire a hog that can plug up the middle. I still think they should bring in a running back with experience as well. I don't know if they truly have a run stopping hog with the additions and no Im not complaining just stating how I feel.

I"m OK with how the portal season has gone. For the most part, they have brought in guys that none of us are going to know anything about. Mostly talking about the linemen and LBs. Obviously, we have all heard of the QBs and WR. But, for the guys we have never heard of, they mostly seem to be guys that are older with experience starting. That I think is important in the portal. Bring in guys that should be fairly developed and experienced.

From there, none of us know how this is all going to play out. That's why they play the games.
