Huskers are in the "Last 4 Byes" group at ESPN today as an 11 seed playing Missouri in Milwaukee.

ESPN Bubble Watch update from today.

Nebraska Cornhuskers (64%)

How big was the Cornhuskers' home win against Ohio State on Sunday? If they had lost, their tourney odds in the ESPN forecast would have dipped to 47%, but with the victory, that number rose to 64%. And realistically, that figure might be underrating them -- Nebraska was already a top-40 team according to SOR and WAB. Coach Fred Hoiberg's team has done an excellent job of regrouping from a six-game losing streak to now be on a four-game heater in Big Ten play. (Updated Feb. 9 at 4:20 p.m.)

Huskers are a 10 seed at both ESPN & CBS in their latest bracket guesses.

ESPN has them playing Missouri in Wichita & CBS has them playing Clemson in Cleveland.  I haven't seen Missouri this year, but based on what I saw from Clemson last night that would be a bad matchup for the Huskers.

ESPN has them playing Missouri in Wichita & CBS has them playing Clemson in Cleveland.  I haven't seen Missouri this year, but based on what I saw from Clemson last night that would be a bad matchup for the Huskers.

I also saw Nebraska vs. Mississippi State in one of the brackets a sportswriter/bracketologist had on Twitter/X.  As a 'Husker fan I think that would be a solid matchup.  MSU is a bit below the best of the SEC when I watched them a couple of times on the SEC Network.

USA Today has that matchup with the game being in Wichita.

ESPN updated Nebraska's outlook in their bubble watch today.

Nebraska Cornhuskers (79%)

Fred Hoiberg's team has done an excellent job of regrouping from a six-game losing streak to go on a four-game heater in Big Ten play, most recently posting an impressive win Sunday over Ohio State. With a top-40 ranking according to SOR and WAB, the Huskers are at 79% to make the NCAA tourney in the updated version of ESPN's tourney forecast model. If the Big Ten sends 10 teams to March Madness, they figure to almost certainly be in that group. (Updated Feb. 11 at 8:19 p.m.)
