I'd say they have to win at OSU and against Iowa + win two in the B1G tournament.  They will definitely be playing Wednesday (if they get in) and whoever they play will not help their resume.

And presumably hope there are a minimum number of "bid-stealers" (teams that wouldn't have been selected at-large but win their conference).

I agree, but every time they slip our win over them looks worse.

They may be horrible next year, but it will depend on who they pick up in the portal (Nebraska will be in the same boat).

Some of them, yeah.

16 vs 16 will be small conferences but they will do 11 v 11 (I think, maybe it is 12v12) and that will be P5 schools.

It's always the 4 worst 16 seeds (there are technically 6 of them) and the last four in (usually 10-12 seeds & from power conferences).

Everyone seems to have Nebraska in the "First 4 Out" group as of this morning.

Beating Iowa won't move the needle.  They are going to have to win at least two games in the B1G tournament to have a chance.  Whoever they play on Wednesday (if they make it) won't move the needle either.

Only if Northwesern wins at Maryland.  We have the tiebreaker over Northwestern.
