Wow Ohio State has a really tough path.

Play winner of A&M/Miami. That will be a tough matchup for OSU.
Then play winner of Georgia/Ole Miss. Another tough matchup.
Then play the NCG against Indiana/Tech. Wow.

If they repeat they will earn it for sure. All of those teams have really good to great defenses (esp Tech & Indiana, Miami & A&M). And all of those teams have good to great offenses.

You could but I am a stickler for winning your Power 4 conference title as an auto bid achievement, regardless of overall record. It just gives hope and awards a team for doing it. Even though we know they would be one and done in the playoffs, it still feels good.
