A freshman came in and blocked the middle. Disappointing all around, but they still almost won because of BA willing it.

DBK will be an even better coach when she gets a group motivated like those who played in last years championship game.

Eh ... the freshman wasn't doing much. I'm fine with Jackson getting pulled but it seems ridiculous to end your season with one of your best players on the bench. She should have gone back in at least for the fifth set.
 
Plus, part of Jackson's hitting issues were because Bergen's setting was off. Jackson has been hammering the slide all year long. Today they were a bit behind where they usually are and she couldn't rip at it.

I get it. I just assume this coach knew best. She is not a slouch or someome that needs time to figure things out. She almost won it last year with less. If she was an unknown first year, I'd scratch my head.

I just assume she knew something we didn't because she's good. Maybe better than Cook himself.

I'd hate to lose due to illness, but no excuses if you're building a program. It's no difference than an injury.

Bergan was sick all weekend. The thing went 5 sets with a marathon 4th set. Allie Sczech was injured in warm ups. AndI Jackson was off. Serve was attacking Choboy (she responded better than she has).

It was a rough day.

Allick is an absolute warrior and a well deserved fan favorite, but they will be fine.
 
I can't respond to all the stupid posts about this team. Nebraska is full of great fans & handful of poor sports. I would not trade this team or coaches. No excuses from the coaches or the players, even though some were playing sick. Huskers have a bright future.

Everyone can have an opinion. I don't get how you don't realize that calling someone else's posts stupid, is itself a stupid post.

You do realize that if fans are responding after a painful loss such as this one, that the program has obtained elite status. No different than football. I think it's a good great thing. Big time support +big time exposure= big time pain.

I think you should get over it.
