2025 Spring Practice Notes - Linebackers

Stewart was a top ten player at the start of his recruiting cycle because of his intelligence and field vision but just wasn't as fluid or explosive as you'd want from a high-level DB. On this board, Scarlet predicted this move three years ago.

 
I am very anxious about the thread.  We have a lot of LBs and quite a few are talented and can play coverage and around the LOS too.  I feel like our LBs are going to be pivotal with supporting the DL.  

Very curious about an experienced transfer kid we added.  Can't remember his name but is about 5'11 and has been a dawg, chewing up tackles.  From East Tenn State or something.  Keep an eye out for him.

Film clips I saw he looked really good.  I'm feeling good with the offer as  the schollie limits and our roster needing to down size, can't imagine they'd waste a schollie on a guy who won't't contribute.

Sounds like he has been running with the 2’s, definitely seems worth it IMO. Great for that young man.
