Yeah, I'm not sure if JUCOs are really transfer portal guys at all. Kind of that grey neverland between high school and NCAA schools.

Not directed at you, but what is a "commitment" when not talking about a high school recruit? Is it just supposed to mean that he's shutting down recruitment until its determined he and the program can't agree on the final financials?

"Commitment" has never really meant anything for recruiting.

Understood, but with HS recruiting there is a date that prevents the recruit from signing. Unsure how this correlates to the transfer portal.

Found out this week he is not academically qualified. Has to retake a math class so he won't know for sure until June.

Clemson came in with more money. Huskers would rather try to make sure we get Berymon and/or possibly Green than wait for June and hope he qualifies. Also getting Stoudmire lessens the need.

i was thinking this could be the biggest impact player we signed. but i guess there are more dline out there...specifically green who i view as even a better prospect.
