2026 DT Malcolm Alcorn-Crowder -> SMU

Maybe I'm delusional or underestimating SMU, but I don't think he commits to them over us and Penn State if either of us really wanted him. Hoping we have bigger plans, but there's not a lot out there at the moment.

FWIW, I though Gabe Moore had some nice plays sprinkled in with the general DL mess. I expect a step into at least competence this year. But we obviously need more than that from the portal, and George was a miss. Maybe taking a 260lb guy and trying to beef him up to 285 to play inside while he was fighting injuries was a bad idea.

I just don't have faith in this staff to make that assessment after the debacle from last year that is carrying over to this season. But at least guys can wear their hats backwards!
