3-3 or 5-1

It is still four weeks away, but realistically we could be 5-1 going into Ames. Missouri is probably one of 2 or 3 teams that can hang with USC and after watching their scrimmage, ...er game against Nevada, I don't like our chances. VT and TT wins are obtainable if we can control the clock and create turnovers. The TT game could come down to who has the ball last.

There are no easy wins from here on out, including Iowa St or Baylor.........ok you're right, we'll roll them up, :thumbs but......THE REAL FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS NOW!

although i agree, prepare to be slammed.

however unlike some i do think that MU is beatable. they have a very very suspect D, currently ranked last in the big 12 in passing yds allowed, and 9th in rushing D. we might not win but i am not too worried about our chances.

USC would steam roll MU almost as bad as they did OSU, just like OU would do.

I don't see anything worse than 4-2 out of this, and 5-1 seems like a good possibility now. They have had a game against a team that runs almost the exact same offense as TT, that has to count for something. On top of that TT hasn't looked like world beaters this year, they have a lot of holes in their game right now. If they beat VT, then Missouri had better look out. A Husker team full of steam and confidence at home can beat anyone. Especially with all of the bulletin board material Bo can use, such as the highschool comment by Chase Daniel last year. It all starts with 2 weeks of practice as good as they had last week and then coming out and playing a complete game against VT.

I think 4-2 is probably the most likely. We'll see how it goes against VT, though...I don't expect it to be a guaranteed win, but I do think we'll end up with the victory there. While there is always a chance against any team, Missouri is just out of our league. I think we would need TT to beat themselves to win there. However, I think a win from them is far more likely than a win from Missouri. I still see them both as losses, though.

Anything from 3-3- to 6-0 is possible. I'd agree with B-rent though MU isn't necessarily a given loss. We have them at home, and IMO they haven't really been tested yet, (Illinois? meh, middle of the road at best). The best way to defend all three of them though is to keep 'em on the sidelines. It's going to come down to how well our O line can chew up the clock, and we're going to have to catch some breaks.

I think we end up 4-2..................MU is a loss and right now TT is a loss. Both of those teams are capable of scoring big on us unless we figure out some of our smaller issues on defense. We are playing much better though and if we take it to VT I think MU is going to be surprised with how much passion and fire we play with at our house.

I remember USC thinking they were going to steamroll Stanford last year too, but I see you working. Trust me, I don't like the Pinkel Pickers anymore than the next guy, but Missouri will score at will against anybody. That said, if we can prevent them from running away with it before halftime, anything can happen.

Any team can win on any given day. If we beat VT, NU needs to come into the Mizzou game with something to prove. IMO the coaching staff needs to remind these players what was said after the MU game last year and have them play pissed off. The team should come into the game no only looking to win, but to punish them by playing very very physical. We can beat Mizzou. Our house our rules. GBR!

3-3 seems likely to me. 4-2 is a possibility.

the creampuffs are done, over, a memory...

the real season starts with probably unranked vaTech.

IMO-- Missouri will win in Lincoln pretty easily, by 14+ points.

--------Unless Harrell goes down with injury- TT will likely be a loss as well.

Oh-- Bo will hand out the blackshirt before the vaTech game.

GO BO!!

4-2 seems most probable to me. Beat Tech, lose in a close one to Missouri and then get rolled by Texas Tech because we didn't move on from the close loss to Mizzou. Obviously I hope that doesn't happen, and Lord knows I'm going to drink enough kool aid game week so that I convince myself a win is inevitable. It's just what I think is most likely.

6-0 :koolaid2:
I like this guy. :koolaid2:
