3 out of 5 on CBS Sports Pick UW?!?!

I am so sick of hearing how we beat a Oklahoma team. We beat them like Iowa State beat us.

Texas great game, Arizona great game, nothing to talk about with Oklahoma. TTU ?

We have some problems keeping intnesity up. Maybe the media slap at them will help.

It's all a popularity contest anyway, could care less on why these 3 ding-dongs picked UW... just have to wait and see Saturday if NU does anything to change their minds! :koolaid2:

How do you figure that? After they went up 10-0 in the first, we shut them down the rest of the game. Both of their TD's came from mistakes we made deep in our own territory. Example, if Chris Polk doesn't fumble on our own 15, they don't score that TD. We shut it down in the third and started just handing the ball off to run the clock out. We fumble and they score. Two plays later we score again with two throws from Locker to Kearse and Aguilar.

Anyways, Cuse was never in the game after the first 10 minutes.

It kinda goes along the same lines as our game vs. Idaho. Idaho was never, ever in that game. The score was 3-0 at the end of the first quarter, but they hadn't moved the ball at all, while we had moved it reasonably easily. It's 31-3 at halftime thanks to a couple of defensive scores, then the final is 38-17 thanks to a turnover deep in Nebraska territory and a long drive by the Vandals vs. our 3rd-string defense, yet posters from Washington are making hay off the fact that we only scored 24 points on offense and gave up 17 on defense.

If you're going to make a point of noting that Nebraska gave up 17 points to Idaho and only scored 24 on offense, it's a fair point to make that Washington gave up even more points to an even worse team, regardless of how that happened.

I honestly think Cuse would defeat Idaho 9 out of 10 times this year. Idaho was a bowl team last year, and yet we played like crap and still curb stomped them in Husky Stadium.

 
How? Motivation to play the whole game, put an end to the doubters, not only nationally but in house.

Wow! We lost to Iowa State due to 8 turnovers, we out yarded them. We lost that game, Iowa State did not win it.

But Oklahoma has 7 turnovers and outyards us we beat them. Can not have it both ways. We were lucky to win that game. Reality. Unlucky to lose the Iowa State game. That is the way the ball bounces, but saying we beat Oklahoma as a matter of fact is questionable in my mind. We won the game, but had a lot of help.

I think you would be a lot better off if you actually watched the games you're talking about. It's pretty clear you saw neither of these games if you think that the 8 turnovers we had against ISU were in any way comparable to the 7 turnovers OU had against us.
