3-pointers??

I know that starting this year the 3-pt line has been moved back about a foot. But last night during the Saint Louis game, it seemed as almost all of their 3-pt shots had at least a foot on the white line and still counted. Do you think the refs were just confused by the two seperate lines?.....or am I just missing something?
